How do you reconcile?
First, decide that you want to reconcile even before the argument starts or before you explore the points of disagreements.
Second, focus on the things that you have in common. Once you've established this, start to talk about the differences.
Third, learn to apologize. "I'm sorry" is very powerful.
Fourth, accept your mistakes. This is the only way you can learn.
Fifth, forget about blame. It's not gonna help.
Sixth, move on.
